Junebug Weddings Shoot

Berry Lips. Wild Curls. Dramatic Eyes. Does it get more 'Autumn' for bridal?

When Jeff Brummett asked me to do this editorial, I initially NEARLY declined, as I don't advertise bridal work. When he told me the concept, and told me I was free to make it as edgy as I wish, I was all in.

I knew that I wanted to use one of my new Makeup Forever Artist Acrylips, and I knew the 501 color, a deep berry, would be stunning on Rita.

Her complexion is perfected with my favorite foundation, It Cosmetics CC Cream. It leaves such and amazingly perfect canvas while still looking like SKIN. Applied with my Smith Cosmetics 115 brush, I was able to get a flawless, airbrush finish.

On her eyes, I wanted to give her definition, and a bit of edge, while still letting the lips take the main stage. I used my Smith 202 brush to get a perfect line with a gel liner, and Makeup Forever starlit powder for a subtle glow. I contoured the orbital bone with MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skin Finish in Dark Golden (guys, this color is GREAT for bronzer on light skin, highlight on dark skin and eyeshadow for a natural look on lots of skin tones... a true MUST HAVE).

Also, can we please take note of that AMAZING ear piece?! I'm obsessed.
