Before and After: Senior Portraits

It's been a while since I did a before and after post, and this one is such a great example of keeping my client looking like themselves, but polished and beautiful... which is always my go to for senior portraits.

For this one I teamed up with Candice Perry of Beautiful You Seniors. Kayleigh is a precious girl and wanted a glam vibe, but not too over the top. If you know me, you know that this is my JAM. I love making my clients look like a celebrity version of themselves, which is one reason I really love Senior Portrait makeup.

For her skin we used a LeadersUSA mask to hydrate while I curled her hair This allowed time for the mask to really sink in and plump her skin for optimal makeup application and less products needed. After I removed that we used a light skin prep, massaging it into her skin with a jade roller. If you aren’t familiar, these are available on Amazon and are awesome. They not only feel great but really get the blood flowing.

I used the tiniest bit of Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer mixed with MAC face and body mixing medium to cover with a fresh glow.  This foundation is extremely pigmented… I could use it for tattoo cover! This is why I thin it out, so that I can manipulate the texture and coverage.

On her cheeks I used Senna Slip Cover blush and Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow.

Her eyes are the new Viseart Petit Pro palette, lined with the darkest color to give definition.

Her brows and lips are both Glossier: Boy Brow and Generation G with Balm dot Com over, for a subtle flush.

The icing on the cake is the Ardell Double Stack Wispies... they were PERFECT for this look!
